In the last article we have discused two kinds of waterborne aluminium paste division. Today we are going to talk about other divisions of waterborne aluminium paste and its applications.
3. Particle size division
The general particle size range is between 6 μm and 80 μm, and the needs of customers are mainly between 6 μm and 40 μm. Generally, the size below 20 μm is fine powder, and above 20 μm is coarse powder.
4. Process division
The water-borne aluminum silver paste process is mainly divided into passivation type aluminum silver paste and secondary coated aluminum silver paste. Passivated silver has the advantages of strong metallic effect, high hiding power and good adhesion but its disadvantages are weak stability and low environmental index. Coated aluminum silver paste is generally coated with silica, has good stability, can be stored for a long time, and has a high environmental index.
Water-based aluminum silver paste is mainly used in the industrial paint, including plastic paint, wheel paint, metal paint, glass paint, wood paint, automotive paint, anti-corrosion paint, printing paste, coating printing and ink printing and many other fields. In comparison, anti-corrosion paint is undoubtedly one of the main industries with a wide range of applications and a large amount of consumption, but it mainly uses the anti-corrosion performance of water-based aluminum powder slurry, and does not require the appearance and metallic texture of water-based aluminum powder slurry, which leads to its production cost. The requirements are very low, which to some extent excludes a lot of options.
